Not For Public Consumption

I interpreted a dream the other day for a woman and like usually happens, the more we talked about the dream symbols, and the more she shared about what was going on in her life, the more the meaning of the dream sprang forth. The dreamer, I’ll call her Ruth, is in her mid-forties. Always a creative soul, it has only been in the last three years that she discovered a passion for painting. She said she woke up one day and felt the overwhelming need to express herself through paint and canvas. For weeks, she...

Stressed Out

Recently I read a Slate article addressing the reasons behind the epidemic of stress and anxiety, particularly in the lives of college students. The author of the article, Taylor Clark, disputes the claims that it is our bad economic times and the dearth of jobs awaiting young adults once they graduate. Yet, the tendrils of energy that usually wrap around the forward trajectory to help me keep up are at the moment curled in on themselves. Usually patience is difficult for me. The pushing forward comes from inside. This doesn’t seem to be the case now, however. There is no hurry, except...

A Little Goes a Long Way

After a long discussion, my client settled in for a past life regression. When she had gone into a deep trance state I asked her what she noticed? Her feet, her shoes? Anyone there with her? She saw only the color blue swirling around her. When this happens, I think of Marjorie Reynolds. Reynolds has been practicing hypnotherapy since 1984. She also specializes in symbolism. A spry woman of advanced years, Marjorie has this delightful way of telling a joke, then laughing with her shoulders. There is no way you can...
