Dreamin

I have needed glasses since the 6th grade, and even though I’ve had corrective eye surgery, I still have trouble seeing clearly. More recently, I’ve had several dreams where all is shadows and shapes, my vision is so blurry. At the Healer’s Retreat last weekend, a man who told me that he made extra cash in college doing psychic readings, made a comment that is helping me to better understand my poor eyesight. His comment was this: I am living more in the world of the subconscious and the dream than in...

Intuitive Tarot Meetup

Posted by on Jun 14, 2011 in My Thoughts | 0 comments

Beginning June 23rd at Brigid’s House there will be an Intuitive Tarot Meetup every fourth Thursday of the month. I’m envisioning this group to have a kind of Tarot speed dating format. To begin with, there will be introductions all around so we can put names to faces. Following all that amusement will come actual Tarot readings where everyone pairs up for twenty...

Finally the young boy decided to stop listening to his mother crying and fretting and set out to make his fortune and then return to care for her. He was twelve years old. He...

I Don’t Know What I Need, But I Need Something

Posted by on Mar 5, 2011 in My Thoughts | 0 comments

I don’t know what I need, but I need something,” she said when she called a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment. This client has been on a dedicated path towards becoming her authentic self for several months using hypnotherapy. Originally she’d come to see me to deal with relationship issues and lose some weight. So far she’s lost twenty pounds, and though she is coming to see herself in a new way, at times, the rest of the world isn’t quite handling the transformation.  I know this place of...
